I really hope that this WASN’T an official U2/NVIDIA thing. I hope that NVIDIA just paid to use the song and that Bono&Co have no idea about it personally. WHY? …………… While I love U2 and I love NVIDIA I don’t love them together. That’d be a total sellout thing to do. That’d be like Michael Jackson officially endorsing 3M products. Whamahama?!? =) It’d be like REM endorsing Kotex. It’d be like Britney Spears endorsing Pepsi or the Rolling Stones licensing “Start Me Up” to Microsoft. Oops! They did do that. ;p ………….. You get my point. NVIDIA & U2 are so unrelated that it seems cool to hear Elevation against 3D visuals, but utterly pointless on an artistic level. _I’M_NOT_SAYING_THAT_U2_SOLD_OUT_. I don’t believe that to be the case. ………….. I just think that U2 should gain a little more control over how their music is used. I think that they should give the nay sayers fewer reasons to doubt their sincerity. …………. I’m pretty sure that U2 doesn’t really know about this. I hope. ………… Let the flames begin. LOL
