….but he only painted U2 songs. In BRIGHT. GAUDY. COLOURS.
(Love is Blindness)
Aussie/Irish ex-pat artist David Egan has put new, bigger samples of his U2-inspired exhibition online (since we last checked, anyway).
Egan reminds me so much of Keith Haring.
This art is so beautiful! I love the colors. Thank you very much for the link!
The artist does the same painting over and over with different names. What a sham.
Hey U2log, help me out. Awhile ago ya’ll did a thinger on Egan, and it had an adorable painting of U2 with it. I can’t find it on Egan’s site. Do you have any idea what I’m talking about? Does anyone?
Is he suggesting all U2 songs sound the same? All of his paintings look the same!
far2busy – I couldn’t agree with you more. Seems to me that Egan i sjust trying to cash in on U2’s popularity. Can’t he inspire himself? Funny how Bono says that U2 like to ‘paint with all the colours’. Prehaps Egan can take a leaf from Bono’s book.
I like them, actually. I think they’re pretty!
