  7. Wow! Did Bono write this? Really? These are some amazing lyrics! I think i can forgive him for all of the lyrical nonsense of songs like ‘Elevation’, ‘Streets’ and ‘Some Days Are Better Than Others’. Bono, I love you man.

In an interview with Q (not the recent one), he said he felt embarrassed that there was this great, trancendental music, and that the only thing he could think to sing was, ‘I wanna tear down the walls that hold me inside.’ He thinks it sounds sixth-form-ish.
