    Ugh, why do they have to tease so much! lol.. when do we get some actual dates? :P

    Seriously though, 8 years is a heck of a long time to wait to see your favourite band in the flesh, congrats to all you other fans who are going to see U2 in ’06 :)

    I know a bunch of Japanese fans who are probably drinking many beers tonight. I wish I could be there to buy a round.

    This has been much rumoured over the last 18 months, so I’m relieved to finally hear an official announcement finally!

    Now…. about getting tickets…. will there be an australian pre-sale for u2.com members? I’ve noticed that the official site membership doesn’t include presale ticket priveledges any more? Anyone have any suggestions on how to get some good tickets for Aus?

    They are not going to South America just for 2-3 Brazil dates…there’s a couple of articles floating out there (La Nacion and Clarin) that says Argentina is in the pipeline as well. Stand back, Buenos Aires, I’m a-comin’!

    I have it on very good authority that they’ll be in Australia in March 06 (almost exactly 8 years since their last visit!)

    I am an japanese,I conducted a campaign to collect signatures for live in JAPAN and handed in UNIVERSAL in JAPAN 2 years ago…
    but no announce in Vertigo tour,I thought that could only see them DVD forever…

    but U2 come!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Unbelieveable!!!
    We are all waiting for!!
