Oooh, sexier than boots! 21 guitars in one show, my god. Hearing Edge play the riff from Mysterious Ways and The Fly, knowing there’s a bit of North African flavour in the new music… tingles run up my spine. Even my cat likes it, as soon as I played the videos she jumped up, pawed the laptop and meowed (translation, “finish the lyrics, Bono”).

dallas has been wth egde since the JT days, at least since the tour, I don’t think he was already involved in the record, since he was working with robbie robertson on his 1987 self titled record, that danny lanois had produced. I believe the story goes that dallas fixed a guitar for danny, and that was how danny recommended him to edge…
