It’s a Beautiful Day for U2′s fourth night on Letterman
For their fourth performance on Letterman, U2 picked two older songs, playing ‘Beautiful Day’ for the broadcast and continuing with Vertigo, just for the studio audience.

Beautiful Day is THE reason why I defend ATYCLB against the naysayers and haters. This song makes me feel tight in the chest (thanks Dave), for all the right reasons, every time I hear it, no matter how croaky Bono’s voice is.
