“Get off our lawn” say The Edge’s neighbours

We’ve been ignoring this Malibu hullabaloo for weeks here on U2log.com, but it’s on CNN now, so that makes it news. In short: The Edge wants to build five ‘environmentally friendly’ houses on his 130 acre property in Malibu. His neighbours don’t want him to. They didn’t like it when Martin Sheen invited the homeless to their corner of the world either. So it’s not like they’re just biased against guitarists. Meanwhile, plans for U2′s tower in Dublin were shelved in the wake of the recession, and nothing’s been heard of the Clarence Hotel redevelopment for a while. But not to worry, they’ll be erecting giant claws all over the planet soon. That might satisfy the architectural ambitions.

  • the edge is an environmentalist?

  • oh, the neighbor doesn’t want more houses, but built his own there, perhaps in another mount that is equal to, but surely there was no one to complain, no television channel bad as this film, wasting energy using a helicopter, trucks, electricity for 10 minutes or more of film and reduced to 2.11 minutes of pure garbage. Perhaps “The Edge” should make his home on Mars, and leave the lands of Malibu to those “piro maniacs”. Every year they set fire houses, mountains there.
