My favourite song on the album gets the worst U2 video I've seen. Showed it to a few friends, and one asked, "What's with the retarded guy?" I had to explain to him what Sufi dancing is, but I think it raises a point that no one will get it because the video is just too vague and doesn't know what it wants to do. I love the sheets idea, but the rest... bleh. Magnificent deserves much, much better. I think that there was no time to edit, there are errors of dynamics, rhythm and detail, Adam Clayton jumping after Adam still in less than a millisecond, the hair on camera, good dance underestimated. Try another director would be better, or give it more time. But it was. In my opinion, the director failed to use the resources or the director is tired of U2. The idea from "matt" is GREAT! Pearls the idea is great, that concept is great too. But
