U2 – Moment Of Surrender (Mark Knight Demo Mix)
Recorded live from BBC, Creamfields UK. (Via @atU2)
U2wanderer.org has uncovered that Moment of Surrender may be U2′s next single:
DJ Mark Knight has remixed Moment of Surrender and has been featuring it in his recent club sets. In this interview with Beatportal, he states quite plainly that it is a “remix of the brand new U2 single.”
Discuss.

As a reminder, the survey was open from April 5th through April 30th. We received completed responses from 3,530 fans in 79 countries this year, both of which are down from 2010. We think that's likely due to the band […]
- A Look at My U2 Framed Album Cover Wall (PHOTOS) May 22, 2012How would you like to have a wall in your house covered with perfectly framed U2 album cover art? You could just have your favorite U2 albums on the wall or, like me, you could go all the way and put every U2 album on display in order — like this: That’s one of the [...]This is a post from the @U2 blog.A Look at My U2 Framed Album Cover Wall (PHOTOS) […]
- The Resource Miracle May 22, 2012[Note: This essay appeared in the May 28, 2012, edition of TIME magazine.] It's become the go-to cliché of modern economics. Natural resources are a "curse." When a nation is over-reliant on one or two commodities like oil or precious minerals, corrupt government ministers and their dodgy associates hoard profits and taxes instead of properly […]
- Bono Pays One More Tribute to Steve Jobs May 22, 2012Bono made an appearance via video tonight at the Webby Awards, contributing to a tribute to Steve Jobs. A host of tech legends and celebrities each paid tribute to Jobs in five words or less, a Webby Awards tradition. It looks like Bono’s contribution was recorded within the past week, but that’s just a guess. [...]This is a post from the @U2 blog.Bono Pays […]

This remix can’t suck enough. Lame.

Wow, this just might be the worst remix of ANYTHING, ANYWHERE.
Surely U2 did not ‘approve’ of this.

Not only is it horrible, but it sounds like it was done in 1996. Unlistenable.

What is the purpose of remixs anyway. Rarely, if ever, are they any good. And this is at the top of the crap pile.

to start, i am not a big fan of remixes and clubbing up a song…

i know they won’t use this as the ‘released single’ but the LP version of MOS really won’t work on the radio. Best song perhaps on NLOTH but not ‘radio friendly’ IMHO.
Breathe will be like Crumbs/Kite/Wire…
Great songs that management failed to put in the right release order.

Mix sounds awesome heard him play it at creamfields and it went off. I like the way people who know nothing about this genre pass judgment. Not cool

not passing jusdgement on the genre, just this piece of crap. Crazy remix worked, EBTTRT remix worked, even the classic NYD and THBAO remixes worked…THIS DOES NOT and it is a random DJ’s efforts so why do we care anyway??

Its so sad for the Electronic Dance Music community that this track got such a bad reception from U2 fans. As an EDM DJ I can tell you this is an absolute monster.
Its a huge, epic track, but Its not meant for Rock n Roll fans. And Mark Knight is no random DJ. One of the best in the world. So sad…
