U2 – Moment Of Surrender (Mark Knight Demo Mix)

Recorded live from BBC, Creamfields UK. (Via @atU2)

U2wanderer.org has uncovered that Moment of Surrender may be U2′s next single:

DJ Mark Knight has remixed Moment of Surrender and has been featuring it in his recent club sets. In this interview with Beatportal, he states quite plainly that it is a “remix of the brand new U2 single.”

Discuss.

  • This remix can’t suck enough. Lame.

  • Wow, this just might be the worst remix of ANYTHING, ANYWHERE.

Surely U2 did not ‘approve’ of this.

  • LOL…CRAP!! What a great way to ruin a song.

  • I sure hope THIS soul-less garbage is on my new U2.com members-only remix CD…!

  • Not only is it horrible, but it sounds like it was done in 1996. Unlistenable.

  • What is the purpose of remixs anyway. Rarely, if ever, are they any good. And this is at the top of the crap pile.

  • to start, i am not a big fan of remixes and clubbing up a song…
the I’ll go Crazy remix truly works….THIS DOES NOT WORK AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they dare to release another single from No Line we as fans can only pray they don’t choose this RUBBISH!!

  • i know they won’t use this as the ‘released single’ but the LP version of MOS really won’t work on the radio. Best song perhaps on NLOTH but not ‘radio friendly’ IMHO.

    Breathe will be like Crumbs/Kite/Wire…
Great songs that management failed to put in the right release order.

  • Mix sounds awesome heard him play it at creamfields and it went off. I like the way people who know nothing about this genre pass judgment. Not cool

  • not passing jusdgement on the genre, just this piece of crap. Crazy remix worked, EBTTRT remix worked, even the classic NYD and THBAO remixes worked…THIS DOES NOT and it is a random DJ’s efforts so why do we care anyway??

  • Its so sad for the Electronic Dance Music community that this track got such a bad reception from U2 fans. As an EDM DJ I can tell you this is an absolute monster.

Its a huge, epic track, but Its not meant for Rock n Roll fans. And Mark Knight is no random DJ. One of the best in the world. So sad…
