Ready to hear some new U2?

Last night during rehearsals in Turin rumors of the past few days seem to have found some actual ground. Fans camping outside the gate captured the sound of a new U2 song being rehearsed.

Looks like this is the song the band composed for Glastonbury, as lyrics include “The flowering rose of Glastonbury”.
And if so, the song seems to be targeted at the (Glastonbury) audience, with a chorus opening “You are rock ‘n roll sunshine. You are a rock ‘n rollers’ sunshine“.

  • Vocals sound gr8 but guitar is a rip off of Led Zep’s “a whole lot of love”… pity if it is…at least its something new from the world’s best band.

  • Have you seen It Might Get Loud, Paul Hickey? Something tells me Plant won’t mind. ;)
