The mail today

Enrique writes: U2 is the biggest band in the world.I hope that the that new album will be a big album.I hope that the songs will be more hot than the songs of Pop.

You Too’ve got mail

In our mailbox this week, Vanessa says ‘I loooooooove U2′, Holiee goes: In the background there is someone! awww now thats dedication….at 3am in the morning on a sunday (!?!) and Tore ponders: Nice site! Check mine out as well, maybe not so good as yours!. To close off, Humbird praises: What a great site….I really enjoying watching it all….keep up the good work….the same as the boys are doing…I’m sure of that!

Mundane desperados?

As a non musician (I sing, I play guitar, I used to play the piano – but none in any sort of professional way) ‘the studio’, ‘recording an album’ is something magical to me and I’ve always liked to keep it that way. Once in a blue moon you get to read an interview with a musician in ‘Sound on Sound’ or some similar geek muso glossy, and it ruins the layman’s experience of music. ‘Oh yeah, we had this bass groove lying around and we were jamming and got that on tape and then I improvised some lyrics over it… hey presto, our new single’. Ugh. I don’t want that! I want to hear about divine inspiration, no more, no less.
