Live Nation announces new 2010 US dates for U2360 tour

During an unprecedented live web broadcast of the U2360 Rosebowl show in Pasadena CA, U2 & Live Nation have ‘adapted to the new media’ even more by announcing new 2010 US dates for the U2360 tour via Twitter. This (third?) leg of the tour will kick off in Anaheim on june 6th and will take the band back to places around the US and Canada.

For those of you who missed out on the webcast, a rebroadcast is running now (only to be seen in its entirety as it seems).

Bono and Edge Attend Rally

While U2 fans enjoyed the MTV/VH1 broadcast of the 46664 concert on World AIDS Day (Dec. 1), Bono and Edge attended an AIDS Day rally organized by the Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) in Cape Town, South Africa, where Bono addressed a small audience comprised of HIV-positive people and AIDS activists. The U2 singer acknowledged the inititatives that TAC has taken on, saying he was “overwhelmed” by the organization’s work, and paid tribute to the true heroes of the fight–those living with AIDS/HIV.
