U2log Podcast Episode 003 Better Late Than Never
A week late but like most U2 albums, worth the wait – U2log podcast episode 3 is ready and waiting for you to come and say hello. It’s all Magnificent, all the time. We also stop in with George Clooney and The Edge in Malibu.
“Get off our lawn” say The Edge’s neighbours
We’ve been ignoring this Malibu hullabaloo for weeks here on U2log.com, but it’s on CNN now, so that makes it news. In short: The Edge wants to build five ‘environmentally friendly’ houses on his 130 acre property in Malibu. His neighbours don’t want him to. They didn’t like it when Martin Sheen invited the homeless to their corner of the world either. So it’s not like they’re just biased against guitarists. Meanwhile, plans for U2′s tower in Dublin were shelved in the wake of the recession, and nothing’s been heard of the Clarence Hotel redevelopment for a while. But not to worry, they’ll be erecting giant claws all over the planet soon. That might satisfy the architectural ambitions.
