Not so Soon – reports on today’s rehearsals

Two days to go and the boys are still ‘experimenting’ with their setlist during rehearsals in Italy. It looks like the ‘Soon’ part of the intro to the show has been dropped in favour of a new, less ambient track. Fortunately, they’ve hung on to Bowie’s Space Oddity.

On Wednesday after a short rehearsal in the early evening during which they played In A Little While, Miss Sarajevo, Until The End Of The World, Magnificent and Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me, from 9pm the band played what looks like a full set. The big shocker is that some of the NLOTH songs have been dropped in favour of the new song(s) as well as some oldies. No Breathe, no No Line on the Horizon, and no Unknown Caller. I do hope they’ll bring some of them back and start rotating older and newer material.
Your spoilers. Show me them.

Lighting tests (pictures on Facebook) were conducted inside the stadium, but the band are said to be holed up indoors while they rehearse. They are expected to play new material ( two or three new songs) on the tour and perhaps are looking to keep their efforts under wraps.
