Gigs in Dublin (70,000) and Holland (52,000) that went on general sale this morning, sold out in half an hour and twenty minutes respectively. There is no denying the album is HOT and the band are once again Rock’s Hottest Ticket. In fact Paul McGuinness told the press: “It looks like this will be U2’s biggest record ever.”
After queuing up all night (we were lucky and got the tickets we needed), we have been reading reports of fans who tried on line and off line and were disappointed both times. All we can suggest is join a U2 mailing list, keep an eye on teletext and other swap meets, there will be a lot of people swapping or selling tickets at face value. Good luck!
