From RTE news this morning: Lord Henry Mountcharles, owner of Slane Castle, explains [ real audio ] why he thinks there should be a second U2 gig.
Lord Henry, on the verge of losing his voice: “This is uncharted waters for me, we’ve only ever done one show a year. [ … ] I will be examining the views of the local community. I’m looking at the logistics and feasibility of a second show. I am looking at the possibility of a show the following weekend. The second of September.”
Incidently the second of September is also the day Ireland play Holland in a crucial football match. No doubt there will be an outrage if the concert will be held on the same day.
