Our reader Wade is going to one of the Calgary gigs and he sent the venue an email to see what the policy was on pictures. This is their reply:
“Thank you for your inquiry about the upcoming U2 show in Calgary. I have gone through the information provided by the band and they expressly forbid any cameras in the building during the show. This is not the building’s rule, but the shows. They are however, offering concert photos to patrons at a nominal fee through an organization called the Fan Association. Order forms will be available at the building on the night of the show. These photos will be better than any you would hope to obtain from a 35mm camera.”
I think U2 miss the point here. Isn’t there nothing like your OWN pictures?
