Radio 10 may have got it wrong. Although Bono met Jagger in Germany, no duet was apparently recorded. Reports vary.
In the meantime, U2’s first night in Paris was a musical feast, with Bono’s voice in top form and the audience eager to participate. Kite was dedicated to Bono’s uncle Jack, Gone to Herman Brood, and Eve and Blue danced with Bono to Mysterious Ways. Bono thanked Jack Lang and Lionel Jospin, in the audience, for their help on debt relief.
