@U2 have an interesting review of the Boston DVD, including a breakdown of the different shows that were spliced together in the making of the concert you see (in other words, if you believed that it was all one night, I’ve got a bridge to sell you). We must say, however, that we, the U2log.com staff, respectfully disagree with the reviewer’s opinion of live shows vs. video shows — we’ve seen something like two dozen Elevation shows amongst us, and a DVD definitely ain’t better than the real thing. It’s all about atmosphere, baby.

Italian Music Awards
U2 have won two prizes at the second edition of the Italian Music Awards: Best Group and Best Album.
Scott’s homecoming
U2tours.com have audio of fan Scott Peretta’s moment with U2 on stage in Oakland, playing guitar on A Sort of Homecoming. Scott surprised the band with the song, launching into it before they could object.
