Craig David sang a verse of ‘One’ before his performance of ‘Walking Away’ at the MTV Europe Awards in Frankfurt tonight. As I’m sure you’ve not forgotten, the song is a favorite of Bono’s (and borrows liberally from ‘One’s melody in the first place).

It also bears mentioning that U2 lost the awards it was nominated for to dignified acts Limp Bizkit and Blink-182. A continent weeps.

Meanwhile on the other side of the earth, the band LIVE segued into U2’s ONE in the middle of their set at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC, 11/6. They played about half the song.
