VH1 dedicate a web special to the Corrs ‘live in Dublin featuring a 1:15 Windows Media clip
of Bono and Andrea doing a luvly tune called ‘Summer Wine’ in which Bono moans his head ‘felt twice the size’. Ahem. There’s also a slide show with still photos of Bono and Andrea from the special. You can listen to songs in full but unfortunately you will have to the entire continuous stream to catch both the tracks Bono features on: ‘Summer Wine’ and ‘When the stars go blue’.     corrs are stupid.
    Nobody respect them. For example:

    about the current state of Irish music earlier
    in the week. Their single, “Radio Disco”, is out
    27th March, and Cormac Battle from the band said
    it’s ANTI-CORRS/BOYZONE type tune. He said music
    seems to be taking a back seat in Ireland at the
    moment, as Irish folk seem to be more interested in
    wearing designer gear.”
    Wilt is a very good rock band with message in their
    music. Hear their “Radio Disco”, maybe you find
    someone who you do know very well.

    When corrs were Celine Dion’s support, her fans were
    very bored.

    The same were with U2 fans. They came to listen to the
    rock group, the best band in the world, and they
    saw weak, childish popstars, who haven’t got an ear for
    music on the support. My friends were there in Miami
    and they say it was terrible, nobody was interested.
    And this small popstar, “vocalist” of this group impertinently lies in press that was great.
    She’s a lier. They saw it was like a silent film.
    Everybody has to hate liers.

  29. How could you say things like that ? Bono and U2 themseves would be furious by this total lack of objectiveness ! It is a childish reaction or maybe it is just your ignorance in music ! Do you really love real music ? I doubt… I listen to rock, metal, metal opera (like Nightwish), doom gothic, celtic and classic music, it is definitely good music. Also, yes the Corrs are not perfect, I criticized them a lot when they did their In Blue album, but they are talented and delightful musicians ! They have to be respected for that…

  43. the corrs might have let themselves down a little bit, and i stress a LITTLE bit, with their in blue album by going very pop. but at least they are not as fucking full of themselves as bono is. at least they dont think that they can fix everything after september 11th, by singing some nice songs and going on oprah and saying how much he likes america, and how much he feels for them, just so he can sell some more cds. musicians should keep their political views to themselves, and the corrs do a good job of that. the corrs are an excellent band who are well blessed with an amazing talent at writing and performing music, and frankly, anyone who says ill of them are grossly misinformed, and quite possibly deranged (sonia, i’m looking at you). all that said i love U2 aswell, and think they are the most popular (NOT best) band in the world. the best band in the world is the vines. righto, i’m done with this.

  63. I bought this Live album last october in Dublin, when I was there. In the first place I wanted it because of Bono’s songs.
    Now this album is a very nice memory to a very special holiday (Honeymoon)in Ireland.
    The Corrs are a really good band too. The next day I saw Bono with his family, which made this holiday even more special.

  73. Nothing wrong with the corrs, they play their own instruments, they weren’t brought together by a music company like most bands these days, and Andrea has a great voice. They may be pop, but they are good. As for Bono, well he is the king.
