Has It Been So Long?

Today (March 24th — sorry if this message finds you late) marks the one-year anniversary of the launch of the Elevation Tour in Fort Lauderdale, FL. (We’d also be remiss if we didn’t belatedly point out that yesterday was Ali Hewson’s birthday). There are many things to be said about the Elevation tour, but there’s probably just one we can agree on — it was sweet (5MB download). Enjoy the souvenir.

  3. Ahhh memories, I remember nearly keeling over from shock when I saw Bono go over to the keyboard to start playing that tune. 🙂 Also nearly keeled over from a heart attack when Bono took that header off the stage! (g) I was smiling through that whole gig…ahhh, such times. 🙂

What a great tour… I loved the “The Goal Is Soul!!!” line in Beautiful Day towards the beginning, and towards the end of the ATYCLB phase of the band, during Walk On, “You’ve got Heart and You’ve got Soul”, like we reached the goal U2 set for the world… I know I might be cheezy for pointing that out, but I thought it made perfect sense, and what would the world have done without U2, especially last year??? Dream it all up again, guys…
