We’re not sure what the story is on ‘fanlistings’ and ‘cliques’. There are a lot of them around these days, mostly for actors or characters from TV series. They tend to call themselves ‘official’ – which has nothing to do with approval from the object of admiration, but more with fans deciding for themselves they – and nobody else -are going to be boss of this clique. We suppose it all has to do with a sense of belonging to some kind of club. Whatever they are about, clique and fanlisting sites tend to look good and are run by people who know their way around Photoshop and miniscule fonts. Again, we have no idea why. This rather long introduction leads up to a single link to ‘Acrobat’, ‘The Official Bono Fanlisting’. Because it looks spiffy, and who knows, you may want to get yourself listed.

I’m hesitant to point this out because I’m ecstatic just to have been linked once, but I know most of the people who are going to be reading this are U2 fans, so I thought I’d mention that I also have a U2 Fanlisting. The link is in my URL. 🙂 Thanks so much for recommending Acrobat 🙂

My favorite part of the song Acrobat is when Bono flubs the word “responsibilities” Maybe he really is dyslexic.

Acrobat is a lovely site. Thank you for linking to it, and kudos to webmistress Rae.

A littlebit off topic, but the pictures on your site keep showing “please do not hotlink to our … blablabla”. Is it my company’s firewall or are you guys really too lame to upload images to your own site?

We implemented a fix to prevent people from hotlinking to OUR images. Unfortunately, this isn’t working properly – and the replacement image shows up on our own site.

Hmm…that Acrobat thingie shows up really really weird on my Mac. Split all over and images all lined up under each other on the left side of the screen.
