War of the Worlds
Here’s a bit of top goss from Popbitch. According to their latest mail shot, Bono and Noel Gallagher are working on the soundtrack for Tom Cruise’s new War of the Worlds film.
Cruise recently said Bono “makes us all proud to be human.” Which we gather comes in handy when you’re making a film about aliens.
Full Leather Jacket
Sotheby’s are auctioning off one of Bono’s ‘stage worn leather jackets’ for charity, the Quincy Jones Listen Up Foundation. The current minimum bid is: US $10,575.00.

The Ramones tribute album carrying U2’s cover of “Beat On The Brat” will hit stores September 17th. New additions to the lineup include horror novelist Stephen King for the liner notes and KISS for an as-yet-undetermined track, though project organizer Rob Zombie predicts it’ll either be “Do You Remember Rock & Roll Radio?” or “Rock & Roll High School”…
What a meeting!
Bono was in Paris today, meeting President Chirac – perhaps not that big a wanker after all – to talk about Africa, the developing world and an upcoming summit of industrialised nations? After the meeting, Bono signed autographs in front of the Elys
