  1. I thought they were funny, I think we all know The Edge is a bad-ass, I’m sure he was playing on the fact that many of the parts occur on the same actual frets, but are played completely differently, and of course, U2 is arguably the most innovative band ever… Comare Boy/girl with Zoo Station and you’ll see too!!!

  3. That is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time! Especially the Bono strip at the bottom. ANyone who gets offended at things like that obviously hasn’t been offended enough in their lifetime.

  5. It is easy to play a lot of notes, but not easy to select the right FEW notes and make it sound great. I play guitar and even though those songs do contain those notes, the order, rhythm — the way those notes are played are all different.

  7. Bono’s right:) Most of the critics can’t even play guitar in the first place. I think has to do with the chord changes…for me that is what sets the mood, feel, atmosphere of the song. Chords are the canvas, and the guitar lines are the splashes of color. It takes people like The Edge and George Harrison to define true artistic playing. Love and Justice….Richard

  9. That is the funniest comic I have seen in a long time. “All I’ve got is this red guitar three chords and the truth” Too many echos not enough voices -Dan’o

  13. this is dave, the author of the comic – thanks for the positive comments. the edge’s guitar virtuosity is definitely beyond incredible…i just mainly wanted to do a comic with U2 characters in it (and didn’t expect the backlash). but i’m glad to hear that other fans like you enjoyed the comic. thanks again.
