  1. It sadly was a bit disappointing this interview….. What are our heroes doing at the moment? Does anybody know? I’m suffering from a bit of ‘U2-cold turkey’ at the moment, I’m afraid. PLEASE give us new songs! Do you know the feeling?

  3. By all accounts they have been livin’ it large in the South of France following Edge’s wedding for a few weeks. And why not.

  5. Yes, we all know that. And they deserve to enjoy themselves, I agree. But what I mean is: what are they doing today? This hour? This minute even? Or am I sounding to desperate know?

  7. Yes you sound like a stalker AND you can’t spell. Please, this will be the quickest we get new music from U2 since the AB to Zooropa period.

  11. Sorry, I just get a little frustrated when people treat the band like a jukebox. I’ve just seen a lot of people on this webpage talk about how they “deserve new songs” and demanding they get released right away. As if they forget they’re human. I mean this fall may be the most we’ve seen from the band as far as releases in a long time. And when people are asking about every move the guys make and where are they at this moment it gets a little creepy. Just this week Eddie Vedder had to have a “fan” removed from a show because this woman was stalking him. People can blur the lines a lot and I’ve seen it on this and many other U2 webpages and it just scares me. But I’m truly sorry about taking it out here. Please accept my apology.

  13. I’m sorry I gave the wrong impression in the first place, BlueRoomFancy. I think it was just my enthousiasm for the new releases getting the better of me. I’m normally a nice and sensible guy. U2 have every right to get a lot of privacy after the marvellous tour they did. (note: I never said we ‘deserve’ new songs). I agree fully with what you are saying here, and I want to assure you that my intentions are innocent. Maybe we should return to the topic here: anyone remember an even more surreal answer from Bono from the past? (and finally, I want to apologize for my spelling. I sometimes make mistakes, but that’s because English is not my first language, sorry.)

  15. That site is BUSY…unless you have their newsletter…which I haven’t gotten for this week…then I’m afraid the questions will continue to be a MYSTERY…which leads to the whole “what are they doing” thing. Well, they obviously AREN’T working…that’s the point. It seems a bit unfair that 4 people (not to mention a whole society of upperclass) can sit on their arse and make 30 million dollars a year. The critic from the 23rd said it’s because of the “new” marketing of pop music. They “deserve” the time off. Excuse me, but people working a normal 8 – 5 job work more than a touring rock band and don’t tell their bosses they deserve 3 years off with an OCCASIONAL visit to the office when theirs an emergency!

  17. I finally got to read it…and I’m dissappointed too. Most of the questions were VERY politically oriented. I could care less about what Bono’s favorite city is or his ideology. We’ll find that out on the next record anyway and in much more pallatible verse than what he said for the last question. It’s very hard for me to keep my sense of humor about U2 when Bono keeps throughing DATA in my face.
