Delicious Demon Digs Bono

Emma Caulfield, the reluctant actress who plays vengeance demon “Anya” in UPN’s hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, may not be fond of bunnies, but she’s got a theory

It could be Bono. In the September issue of SFX magazine she admits being a ‘horribly fanatical’ U2 fan: “If I met Bono I honestly don’t know if I could speak. That’s how floored I’d be. His humanity and his music and everything he’s doing now – he could be a total ass in person, but I mean his public persona is someone of real high character and intelligence and fire. I like to be inspired. It’s rare that I am, but when I am I’m really devoted. He’s willing to make fun of himself as well, he’s got a great sense of humour. There’s a humility to him. […] Humility is very, very attractive.”

  3. Wow. I never knew that so many U2 fans liked Buffy the Vampire Slayer too. Feeling less alone but no less uncomfortable. It’s not easy telling people you’re obsessed with a show called Buffy…
