MTV USA has started showing U2’s video for the new single Electrical Storm, and it appears Mr Mullen gets all hot ‘n’ wet with Ms Morton. View the evidence, captured for eternity at the Interference forum.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the planet, Top of the Pops’ programming lists a U2 appearance (the video? live?) on Friday September 20, with a repeat on Sunday 22nd.

  1. I just saw the video on said MTV USA this afternoon (totally by chance, what a good surprise!). I stopped by to find out if that was Larry in the video… some shots looked like him, some didn’t… glad to know I wasn’t going crazy!

  9. what with all the “larry mullen jnr: pornstar” hoopla (c’mon, the rest of the band have been pushing for that angle for YEARS) i think the main thing overlooked here is that it looks like edge is playing a…jaguar(!) for the first time, like, ever. and what IS with the glowing dear? what’s with the “chorus”?

  13. I think the video is truly a piece of art! It definitely has a U2 vibe that I think the ATYCLB video’s didn’t have(Anton Corbijn has that touch)…albeit still good video’s. The shot of Larry pushing an antique tub of seawater up the beach is one of the best things Ive seen in a video in year’s.
