Nebraska, World Aids Day

Bono is to visit Lincoln, Nebraska (USA) for World Aids Day on December 1st. That’s what they’re saying, but we all know he’s really going to check out what Springsteen’s album’s all about.

… and for our Aussie readers, a heads up: Bono’s Oprah appearance will be show on Channel 10 on November 22nd (2.30pm).

Larry King interviewed Bono on November 19th, it will be aired on World Aids Day.

  3. Bono will no doubt complete the city-song trilogy with his final installment: “Lincoln” It’s about the edgy and surreal city in Nebraska. I have no doubt it will be on par with “Miami” and “New York” Can’t wait to see how he rhymes words with corn. Should be incredible!

  7. Actually, Bono was asked by former NU football coach-turned-senator Tom Osborne to visit the Husker football team and give them a pep talk, in exchange for signing on to Bono’s debt-forgiveness campaign.
