In an interview on John McLaughlin’s “One on One” this weekend, World Bank President James Wolfensohn was asked the hard-hitting question if he would rather be Elvis or Bono. “Well, Bono’s alive. That’s an advantage,” Wolfensohn replied.
“He says that you’re Elvis — you’re the Elvis of development,” McLaughlin said.
“I was very thrilled about that. It built my prestige in the office,” Wolfensohn responded.
