11 O’Clock Leixlip

Where were you in 1981? U2 played Leixlip: the Edge wore orange, Adam sported the bleached look and Larry shook his head in disbelief as he wondered why on earth he handed over control of his band to that guy in the polo neck. Download the 11 O’Clock video from U2star.com — they’ll be putting up Electric Co next.

  3. in 1981 I was a mere babe in arms… watching that video made me suddenly think that I’m so glad Bono found a place to focus his energy, when so young, a good place. I mean, imagine if that man had used his boundless energy for evil instead of good. Does that make any sense? anyway. terrific video. 🙂
