Hello, it’s Bono

Bono has making phonecalls to teenagers for an after-school program aimed at keeping teens in school and off drugs, ShowBiz Ireland reports. The Sheriff Street After Hours School Education Project in Dublin offers teens between the ages of 12 and 15 the opportunity to learn about the arts from experts. Bono’s pals Gavin Friday, Guggi, and Andrea Corr are also participating in the program.

(Ed. note: This is something Gavin Friday has been been involved with for a while. He attends the project on a weekly basis and invites his showbiz friends to participate. Larry Mullen’s been down to meet the teens too.)
