Concert Recordings Found “in the Attic”

Scottish Radio Holdings (SRH) has discovered an archive of concert recordings broadcast by one of its stations, Radio Clyde, that was lost and forgotten. Among the recordings are concerts by U2, Elvis Costello, and Roxy Music from the 1970s and early 1980s. According to the Financial Times, SRH will today announce a deal with Universal Music which will allow those recordings to be released to the public. Since its discovery of the archive, SRH has been converting the recordings to a digital format and arranging agreements with the artists.
