Believe it or not, but The Sun reports on Bono’s hat making its way to Modena for last night’s concert.

  5. Unfortunately, I’m not sure howe true the story is. I have video of the concert, and Bono was NOT wearing it. He was wearing that Army-type green cap backwards as usual.

  9. He’s right! I would do the same. Anyway its really hard to find a camohat, which fits perefctly to yer head. I thought once I lost mine, and was really mad! But I think Bono, U better make yer hairdo, despite hiding it!

    But if it’s true, you can’t blame him. When the Stones toured Europe in ’82, shockwaves went around the world because Keith Richards had forgotten that pair of red sequined suspenders he wore on onstage at the time — you can see them in shots and video from the ’81 American tour. So they get this temp from Atlantic Records to send the suspenders to Keef — she goes to Fed Ex them, and puts a label on front addressed to “Mr. Keith Richards”, using a Rolling Stones Records mailing label, no less. Look for them on Ebay, because that’s the LAST anyone saw of them…so if Bon gave his hat a first-class flight, it was probably his only way of making sure he’d ever see it again.

Second, its sources are “friends” of Bono’s who, what, keep an eye out for accessory news and then call the nearest tabloid? third, Bono always wears the camo hat for these charity shindigs. anyway it’s still kinda funny. Someone at the Sun had a good laugh over it.
