  23. I’m with beautiful day … walk on would be an excellent choice, but to people unfamiliar with the song, hearing the command to “walk on!” at the special olympics might be taken the wrong way.

  29. Gotta be Beautiful Day…I saw the “pop-up” version of the BD video on VH-1 one time, and they even mentioned the Special Olympics in the last “pop-up”. They were making fun of Bono’s jumping ability. Har de har har! Now that I think about it, that’s not very PC of VH-1, is it?

Now I would say “Beautiful Day” because it does fit and it is so obvious, but I’d like to think that they won’t play it for that reason, but there have been many times when I was sure they wouldn’t play “One” at something for that very reason, and dang if they didn’t go ahead and play it…they’re going to play something Kennedy-esque because it’s Special Olympics, so I’m going to have to say, “Daddy’s Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car,” unless Ethel and Bobby Shriver show up instead of Michael Skakel and William Kennedy Smith.

Dont tell me you were only joking and you did not mean to offend. Why not mock the Chernobyl children, the political prisoners and the African AIDS victims.
