  1. I’ve heard this story hundreds of times with different narrators, it became a favourite among me and my friends when my dad bought me the album when I was about eight. We used to scream and cover our ears when it became too exciting. However, until I saw mr. Friday perform in Dublin, I never heard the word ‘pussy’ being used in it. Somehow, ‘cat’ was always used to describe the animal. Peculiar…:-)

  3. is anyone else turned off by the new, soft and cuddly U2? i mean come on–children’s books, praise for george bush, and oprah winfrey?!

give me the good old days of zoo tv: political rants, loud guitars, sex, drugs, and mind-blowing mischief and thought provoking art.
