B.B. King and György Ligeti win Polar Music Prize for 2004

The winners of the Polar Music Prize, The Royal Swedish Academy of Music Award commonly described as the music world’s equivalent of the Nobel Prize, for 2004 were unveiled today at The Royal Swedish Academy of Music in Stockholm.
