Wonder if this book’s any good to buy. The last time I took on a literary recommendation by Bono was Bukowski. Now, that was good, and made me a fan of all of his works. Naturally, it made me fonder of the song “Dirty Day”.

I just got it out of the library — I loved Butcher Boy and The Dead School, but not Breakfast on Pluto, so I’m eager to see how this one goes over — see if it lives up to Bono’s blurb on the back, the only other two display quotes they have are from newspapers, and they are one line and have nothing to do with this book in particular. And, of course, they can’t match King Bon’s gift for literary capsule review!!
