We missed it the first time it made the press, but as word of the Pixies reforming for this year’s Coachella festival spreads across the globe, we must make mention of an upcoming ‘best of Pixies’ album and DVD release on their record label 4AD.

The DVD features eight Pixies videos, a concert and the documentary ‘Gouge’ which includes interviews with Thom Yorke, David Bowie and Bono.

The Pixies’ last major tour was supporting U2 on a number of U.S. dates on 1992’s Zoo TV tour.
