The Fate Of Propaganda

European fans are reporting that they have received a mailing from Propaganda, the U2 fan club and magazine, informing them of its plans to convert to an online-only format.

According to the mailing, membership to the online version of Propaganda will cost $40/year for new members and $20 for current members who have an unfulfilled subscription to the magazine (for the first year only). Among the benefits fan club members will receive are priority ticketing for the upcoming tour, a “special introductory gift,” a U2.com email address, and access to “exclusive content” at U2.com.

  5. I spoke with a sales rep at U2 Shop operated by Fanfire. She stated that the new fanclub ordering process will start tomorrow (Nov 23), as with everything else. So for all you former Propaganda subscribers, make sure you ask about any sort of promotion going on!
