Someone got suckered into buying the U2 iPod!

I kid you not… Here’s the brand spanking proof, fresh of the press:

“Why? How? What? No way!” I can almost hear you say. Well, it is true, even though U2log.com staff was quite surprised as well to see find this very rare U2 iPod sighting in nothing less than a 50 cent video clip! “Whaddya mean, ’50 cent video clip?’ Huh? What?” We mean… 50 Cent, the rapper.


The glimpse of the U2 iPod appears in the video for the song “How we do” by The Game, featuring 50 Cent, just before Mr. Half Buck’s eyes open up from a disturbed sleep and he reaches for his smokes at the beside table. It’s right at the start of the video clip. And how deprived and geeky are we that we can actually get excited about this? Right, anyway…

Who would have thought U2 was entirely cool and quite alright and very trendy and hip in the world of hip hop, rap and god knows what? But you know, this must mean the U2 iPod must be really REALLY cool and we don’t have to feel bad about going jogging with something that’s at least twice the size of a mini-iPod anymore!

That, or maybe the white one just didn’t fit in with the rest of the decor…
