For the fifth consecutive tour, U2 have appointed The Event Transportation System (ETS) as their official worldwide tour and travel operator for the 2005 tour. Official tour and ticketing information will be published at ETS’ web site soon.

so does this mean that tickets won’t be sold via ticketmaster in the US? i also noticed this “waiting list” feature on the ETS site; have I screwed myself for not getting a paid U2 subscription (was thinking that i’d spending that $40 on better seats rather than advanced ticketing)?

Just read on Rolling Stone.com that the tour has been postponed due to family illness.
