For thos who attended the show, could you please specify which version of The Fly was played? Was it the ZOOTV or Elevation tour version? Thanks and congratulations to those who were lucky to see them at the opening of the tour.

hehe…yep…sucks cause POP is my favorite U2 album…But oh well, at least they’re bringing old stuff out again and not playing the saaaame of classics over again.

Zoo Station and Running To Stand Still on 10 December 1993. 40 has only been played full band once since 10 January 1990. Stories For Boys, although only snippeted at this tour’s show, was last played in full on 27 March 1982.

I was at the show. GA, at the tip of the “egg”. Great, just great. To answer a question above.. Pop version of The Fly. “City” starting the show was a monster. Just awesome. This tour is already better than Elevation and it was the first night. Look out you in the rest of the world, Vertigo is coming, coming to blow you away.

I’m really excited about the tour starting!! But….Isn’t this a rather short setlist? Does anyone have an idea why there’s no Crumbs? Or anything from POP, for that matter? I don’t want to sound to negative, but at this point in time the whole thing just seems to be the 4th leg of the Elevation tour. With the same heart, sorry egg. New songs great, but do we really need NYD? Pride? Bullet? Come on!
