Picture Perfect

Some technical difficulties prevented us from publishing our photos from the San Diego opening shows in a timely fashion. With those difficulties now resolved, we can show you what our girl gets when she doesn’t shoot with her “good” camera: still very good photos.

  1. what kind of camera do you have. Those are some of the best shots I have seen of the band. the B&W are very striking.
Thanks for sharing. can you get copies anywhere.

  3. Very nice, I can’t wait to see more, better yet, can’t we jump to October? See you in NY boys!!
Side note…I got Adam to smile like that, I was in the heart in Hartford CT and offered him a J. I flicked it on stage and he nodded for a roadie to snag it.

    Thanks for the pics Ruth~

  5. Can’t wait for Otto’s pics – he’s still around and I’m sure he’s still the best!

  7. Ruth’s photos are numero uno with me. In her photos of U2, I see a love and respect for the subject that I rarely see in the work of other photographers.

To answer badu2fan’s question: Ruth normally shoots with a Canon Digital Rebel (I’m not sure of the exact model); however, with the ban on “professional” cameras at the concerts, she had to use a simpler camera to capture these photos — a Canon Classic Sure Shot 120.
