Rap star Pras records U2 song

pras_single2005.jpg The Fugees’ Pras (born ‘Samuel Prakazrel Michel’) has recorded ‘I still haven’t found what I’m looking for’ on his second solo album ‘Win, Lose or Draw’ to be released on June 14th, seven years after his first album ‘Ghetto Supasta’. The song will be released as the first single from the album.

Pras says he has the band’s blessing. Getting it was easy: “I got Bono’s cell number, and I called and asked him.” RollingStone.com has the full story.

  1. Yeah, that song was featured on iTunes. It’s absolutely amateur. Not worth the four minutes it takes to listen to. Imagine a twelve year old trying to rap by saying “What, what” and “Yeeeah” over the U2 song, and you’ve pretty much got the gist of this, um, contribution to art.

  3. Well, I’m really happy that he’s back. I thought he was the best rapper on THE SCORE and had a great voice and flow. He still does not sound as good as he used to on this song but I feel like if he feels encouraged, he’ll be alright.
