Going to Chicago, anybody? Be sure to wear your coolest threads, because yes, U2 will be filming their Vertigo Tour DVD in that toddling town. With four shows in six days, they should be able to get it right. Though we wouldn’t want to be Bono’s throat on the fourth night.

That would be weird if the only reason that they chose Chicago was because they could easily alter Ver-ti-go lyrics to include Chi-ca-go.
(at this point I shall now receive a barrage of emails from readers informing me that U2 has had a long history of loving Chicago from the naming of the Unforgettable Fire album from an area exhibit to the love affair with the city on the Elevation tour….thereby turing a good natured joke into an epic battle of “loyal fans versus new fans” only to be followed by somebody making a random post about how they hated the Pop album and “didn’t get Zooropa” and then we’ll turn to a discussion about how “If you Wear that Velvet Dress” is a pop gem which finally culminates with someone stating that they’re disappointed with the current setlists and wishes they would play “Miami” in miami…)
