Somebody told me they spotted Bono at The Killers’ show in Chicago on Wednesday night. His appearance caused the audience to chant ‘Bono, Bono!’ on which he indulged the fans with a wave.
The Killers will open for U2 in Cardiff, Katowice, Vienna and Amsterdam (July 13th).
A student in my English class (an 18 year old senior) told me during class today that she was at the Killers concert last night and Bono was there (after I have been bragging all week about seeing U2 in concert Sat, Mon, and tonight.) She said he was up in a side booth area and disappeared when people chanted “Bono” but then came back and waved to everyone. I guess he chose the Killers over Bruce who was also playing in Chicago last night.
