Twickers gearing up for U2

The early birds at Twickenham stadium. To those still lost and confused: the queue for all entry gates is at gate H. Wristbands apparently will be provided at 9 to those in the queue already. Sun is blazing, so it’s looking like a very promising day…

Update: security have put a pass system in place to allow people in and out of the queue. Toilets, water and food are readily availiable. Well done Twickers! Gates for early comers are said to open at 3 and at 4 for everyone else. The idea is to walk people onto the pitch in small groups. Let’s hope that works! Once again, thumbs us for Twickenham.

Update 3.15pm: Punters are being given wristbands by ticket number!

  1. Just returned from Twickenham. Absolutely first rate organisation for the GA queuing. Barriers well set up, wrist bands handed out by security (albeit 3 hours after schedule), plenty of turnstiles to walk through. The result? Pick of the floor. We chose the B stage on the right. Well worth the effort! Very good set – shame about the curfew – things looked much better after dark!
