After a cold and rainy night, Glasgow fans are heating up in the sun in the (refurbished, but) 102 year old stadium. It looks like it’ll be a late start today.
Interpol’s Paul Banks, dressed sharply as usual, in front of Larry’s plastic rain canopy. The last time we saw it on stage was at the Brussels show, but there it was removed minutes before the band went on stage.
8.45pm GMT: U2 start their show
The plastic canopy made an appearance in Manchester and also removed before the band came on stage.

The canopy was indeed removed shortly before the band took to the stage. A fanastic gig, enjoyed the support slots too, though BRMC suffered from a very poor sound mix that hindered people’s enjoyment.
Superb gig though, band were on top form! 🙂
