We don’t like to steal anyone’s thunder, but we hear from some high reliable sources that Australia and New Zealand are a done deal. For real. Expect the official announcement to come soon at U2.com.

Amanda, you don’t need to check the papers or radio. The official announcement will be at U2.com. If you’re a U2.com member, you will probably receive an announcement by email.

I’m truly happy for all the fans in OZ/NZ who have been patiently waiting for U2 to pay a return visit, but what about Japan? The Japanese fans are some of the greatest U2 fans I’ve ever met. Japan is just a hop and skip over from Australia. I hope U2 can schedule a visit there too.

Try living in Adelaide – capital of South Australia – the only mainland state in OZ that U2 avoided in 1998! They even went to Perth, which geographically is nowhere near the rest of Australia, whereas Adealide is right next door to Melbourne and Sydney… (Violins)

Nick, by the sounds of it mate, it looks as though they’re going to be playing stadiums out here.. so I doubt you’ll miss out on tickets (its a small % of tix that are put on sale for the pre-sale anyway).. just make sure you’re right up the front of the queue at the ticket office 🙂

Thank you for saying so,Cindy.
I’m a Japanese guy who long for the band to come to my country.

I know, but I don’t always feel that confident about relying on u2.com for the most up to date news.
Love the pic btw =D

Careful with the tickets. I thought it would be easy getting tickets for the UK stadium tour, until the whole country sold out in 3 hours!
